Thegimpu will be Ajith’s most accomplished action film to date. He has consistently released action films. Until yet, he has only committed to the film Thegimpu, although there have been rumours that he may collaborate with another director on an intriguing film.

Manju Warrier has returned to the big screen with Thegimpu, about which she has shared good comments on social media, following the success of Asuran. This year, however, she contributed to three films: Jack N Jill, directed by renowned filmmaker Santhosh Shivan; Meri Awas Suno; and Lalitham Sundaram, directed by Maddu Warrier in his directorial debut. Even if Zee5 has been suggested as a potential purchaser of digital rights, we should not hold our breath till the film is released in theatres.
