Series Verdict

Many various types of people see movies in India, but because everyone is working so hard, they can’t stay in the theatre for longer than two hours at a time. People began viewing various series on various OTT platforms as soon as the time allowed and were able to pause watching it if they were not interested when web series were introduced in India. The OTT platforms were forced to spend more money on original series in order to increase their audience and subscriber base.

Making a single-story series is simple because each episode will pique the interest of the audience and encourage them to watch the next one. However, if the first episode of a web series with multiple storylines didn’t work out, it may be difficult to persuade viewers to watch the entire series. Even though there are a few moments from various episodes that seem irrational and uninteresting, the overall presentation of these short stories will undoubtedly deliver some excitement while viewing. “Story of Things” captures the interest from the very first episode and maintains it until the very last episode. We don’t want to ruin your anticipation by giving away any major plot points from this series because it has a variety of stories. Instead, you can view the trailer again to choose whether you should watch this show.

When it comes to acting performances, actor Gautami did a great job portraying her character with calm facial expressions. If given a good job, Aditi Balan has once again shown how well she can perform. Vinod Kishan is a skilled Tamil actor who consistently wows audiences with his work despite getting very little opportunities to appear in films. He once again put in a respectable performance. Roju and Ritika Singh both had room for improvement. Siddique, a senior actor, and Archana performed admirably. Every other actor played their roles as necessary by the script effectively.

The “Story of Things” series appears excellent technically. One of the series’ major features is the background score, which Madley Blues (Prashanth Techno and Harish Venkat) created. The background score keeps you interested in the show until the very final episode. Another notable aspect of this series is the cinematography by Harshvardhan Waghdhare, who was able to achieve the greatest results for each story while also setting the mood for that particular story using natural lighting and colours. The editing is clear. This television show has respectable production quality.

With very common fictitious notions that we experience in our daily lives, director George K. Antoney has produced several intriguing stories. He also made sure that these stories have some exciting points that may connect with the audience. Despite the fact that the series has many storylines that are distinct from one another, he undoubtedly succeeded in capturing the audience’s interest with his storytelling abilities.

Overall, “Story of Things” is a series that you should watch if there are no major theatrical releases this weekend. This weekend, you can definitely have some exciting experiences by watching this intriguing series on Sony Liv.
